Membership Objective:
To establish PalTrade as an organization representative of both enterprises established outside the country as well as enterprises within Palestine. PalTrade's mandate is to provide its members with a channel through which they can encourage and develop foreign investment, trade links, and exports.

Membership Categories:
There are three membership categories: National Members, International Members, and Honorary Members.

• National Members:
  All licensed enterprises operating in Jerusalem, Gaza, and in the West Bank are welcome as national members. National members hold all rights and privileges of membership including the right to vote. Members represent the following sectors of the economy:

Agricultural Products	Food and Beverage	Industry Production	Transportation and Custom Clearance Services
Plastic and Chemicals	Medical Supplies and Pharmacist	Building Material	Construction and Engineering Services
Leather and Foot Wear	Fashion, Clothing and Textiles	Paper and Stationary	Banking, Finance, and Insurance
Metal Products	Tourism	General Trade	Handicraft and Souvenirs
Furniture	Electronics and Computer Software Services	Consulting Services	Other

• International Members:
  PalTrade welcomes, as members, all companies and individuals, Arab and foreign, that are operating in similar sectors outside of Jerusalem, Gaza, and the West Bank and looking to establish trade links with their Palestinian counterparts. International members receive all the benefits of membership but are not eligible to vote.
• Honorary Members:
  Honorary membership includes industry associations, chambers of commerce, businessmen's associations, etc. This category also includes individuals holding key posts in Palestinian society such as university presidents, ministers, etc. Honorary members may serve on committees, etc. but are not eligible to vote.

Membership Fees:
National and international members pay a one time registration fee of $1000. Honorary members are exempted from this fee.

Annual Service Fees:
National and International members pay a yearly subscription fee of $500. Honorary members are exempted from this fee.

Benefits of PalTrade membership include the following:

• Access to PalTrade services at reduced rates

• All general newsletters and information bulletins

• Registration in the PalTrade Business Directory and a free copy of the directory

• Access to other PalTrade publications at reduced rates

• Invitations to PalTrade sponsored workshops and events

• Membership packet including brochures and materials

• Certificate of Membership

• Identification Card

• Full participation in the General Assembly including the right to run for and serve in the office and the ability to vote for the Board of Directors and to ratify the annual workplan of the organization.
